RITZ SUMMER CAMP

The Ritz Stage Starz Summer Camp is a four-week, hands-on experience in the magical world of theatre. Each day, campers will explore the realms of acting, singing, dance, and production, all led by our trained instructors.

Ritz Summer Arts Camp for Ages 8-18!

In addition to daily instructional sessions, all campers will attend the summer mainstage production on the Ritz stage and talk to the professional actors involved. Plus, the whole camp will hop on a bus to New York City to see a Broadway show! It’s all a terrific way to learn more about the craft of theatre while making new (and lifelong) friends.

JUNIOR CAMP (Entering Grades 3-8, Ages 8-14)

JUNIOR CAMP REGISTRATION WILL OPEN FOR CURRENT STUDENTS IN EARLY MARCH. REGISTRATION FOR NEW STUDENTS WILL OPEN NO LATER THAN MARCH 13TH!

  • Monday through Friday, 10AM to 3PM, beginning on July 6th.
  • Orientation/Audition Date: Thursday, July 2nd @ 6PM
  • Camp Show Dates: Friday, July 31st @ 7:30PM & Saturday, August 1st @ 2PM & 7:30PM
  • Tuition: $900 – includes all program fees, three culminating performances, ticket to Ritz summer mainstage production (GREASE), and Broadway field trip cost (TBD). [$800 for additional siblings]
  • Before and after care available for an additional cost ($20 per session).
  • Junior Campers experience live theatre with our skilled instructors and staff through daily activities—classes in acting, vocal music, movement, dance, and audition process and preparation. At the same time, campers work on their own production, which they’ll perform at the end of camp. The 2026 Junior Camp show is DISNEY’S DARE TO DREAM JR.
  • Tuition is non-refundable and must be paid in full at time of registration unless applying for a scholarship or alternate arrangements are made with Director of Education Robert Repici.

SENIOR CAMP (Grades 8*-12, Ages 14-18, includes recent HS grads)

SENIOR CAMP REGISTRATION WILL OPEN FOR CURRENT STUDENTS IN EARLY MARCH. REGISTRATION FOR NEW STUDENTS WILL OPEN NO LATER THAN MARCH 13TH!

  • Monday through Friday, 3PM to 7PM, beginning on July 13th. [Please note that on a few select dates in Weeks 1-3, Senior Camp will run from 2PM to 6PM. For Monday through Thursday of Week 4 (Tech Week), Senior Camp will run for extended hours.]
  • Orientation/Audition Date: Thursday, July 9th, beginning at 3PM
  • Camp Show Dates: Friday, August 7th @ 7:30PM & Saturday, August 8th @ 2PM & 7:30PM
  • Tuition: $900 – includes all program fees, three culminating performances, ticket to Ritz summer mainstage production (GREASE), and Broadway field trip cost (TBD). [$800 for additional siblings]
  • *Experienced young performers entering 8th grade may request to join Senior Camp if they feel ready. Final approval lies with Director of Education Robert Repici.
  • High school students and recent graduates channel their passionate and prolific theatrical spirit by mounting a full-fledged musical production in just four weeks. Daily rehearsals give them an opportunity to fine-tune their acting, singing, and dancing skills. Students also dive in “behind the scenes”—preparing sets and props for their production. The 2026 Senior Camp show is DISNEY’S HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL.
  • Tuition is non-refundable and must be paid in full at time of registration unless applying for a scholarship or alternate arrangements are made with Director of Education Robert Repici.

SEAN CLANCY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The Sean Clancy Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2021 to honor the life and legacy of Sean Clancy.

Sean was an integral part of the Ritz Theatre community, having been a camper himself, a staff member, and a performer in many mainstage productions. The scholarship was created in his name to provide two (2) Senior Campers, who have demonstrated financial need, the opportunity to participate in the Ritz Stage Starz Summer Theatre Camp, free of charge.

To apply for this special opportunity, please complete a camp registration form AND prepare a short letter specifically describing why you would like to be considered for the Sean Clancy Memorial Scholarship, what theatre means to you, and what your goals are for the future. Please send in your scholarship application with your completed camp registration form. Deadline to apply is May 31, 2026. Scholarship recipients will be notified on June 1, 2026.

CHRIS CONSOLE SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIP

Through the generosity of Mr. Chris Console, the Ritz Theatre Company will also provide one (1) additional SENIOR CAMP SCHOLARSHIP for the 2025 year, awarded to a student who demonstrates financial need and, equally important, who shows an immense passion for theatre.

TERRY SAPERSTEIN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Terry Saperstein Memorial Scholarship was established in 2024 to honor the life and legacy of Terry Saperstein.

For over five decades, Terry supported young performers as a talent manager, educator, and advocate.  She was passionate about championing her clients and empowering them to succeed, both in show business and in life.

The scholarship was created in her name to provide one student who has demonstrated financial need the opportunity to participate in the Ritz Stage Starz Summer Theatre Camp free of charge. First-time Ritz Stage Starz campers are especially encouraged to apply.
